Can someone point me to the thread walking me through and update of the Bot?  I tried it on my own and I think i messed something up so I just went back to the previous version.

If you got a prior 0.6 release all you need to do is copy the files over your old release files.
All custom modules should still work and all data should remain untouched.

Considering data of the official modules you can work similar for 0.4 versions. Simply copy the config files into the new bot directory - you should not copy over an existing 0.4 directory structure.
All db changes should be done on first start.

Old modules won't work without changes though, as there were several structural changes in the underlying architecture.

And yet..

it's not 64 bit compatible. Anyone still running 32 bit nowadays? I mean, serious? Please apply the diff from the forums and make it standard.

Going by the number of posts with 64bit troubles I guess only a minority is using 64bit php versions.

And I'm pretty sure the patch for 64bit will break 32bit connections.

So no, it doesn't look like we'll move to 64bit as default anytime soon.

Though we might go and put the 64bit version in the releases as option too.

i had the idea of making the patch useing a option setting in the config so u goto tell it use 64bit code in ur config
this by default would be 32bit with option of useing 64 if needed
