i am trying to get bebot up and running. ive been fooling with it and attemtping to follow the guides. i think i have the mysql correct but am lost trying to figure out where the php files are, where they go, i am not even sure what im supposed to be looking for. my org and myself would be eternaly grateful for any assistance, i am just at a dead end here and have no idea what to do or how to do it.
i will be in-game on rk1 on darkhusky and will keep checking here.

Im in the process of switching to bebot. Inital install is pretty straight forward... after reading several different posts.

Basically, download:
http://files.shadow-realm.org/bebot/BeBot_v0.2.9.tar.gz or
http://files.shadow-realm.org/bebot/BeBot_v0.2.9.zip

extract the files to c:\bebot

then, download
http://files.shadow-realm.org/bebot/BeBot-php_v5.1.5.zip

and place those files in c:\bebot as well.

then, edit bot.conf and MySQL.conf as needed/instructed.
edit the first $php_bin = "php4" in the file named start.php to read $php_bin = "php.exe"

bring up a command prompt, change directory to c:\bebot and type: php start.php

that should get you up and running. assuming you installed mysql properly.

Process is the same if you use version 0.3.3 of the bot.

I'm stumbling thru the final custom changes to the bot, and to get a few of the "non-standard" modules to work. But all in all I think it's a great substitute for ign.

thank you guy. thanks to your help ive got it up and running. for some reason im getting alot of errors. but it is working. next im going to read about the modules and stuff. i cant thank you all enough for the help
