It's based on the current SVN version, not 0.4.x.

The buddy_* functions were added there.

Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in C:\TEST\modules\OnlineOrg041.php on line 504
The line 504 looks like this:
Code: [Select]
$who = $this -> bot -> whois -> lookup($faction[0][0]);
I am thinking maybe the whois db is empty and thats why, but well just pointed out, maybe you know better how to fix :D

The database you added doesnt work either to get uploaded.

I used a fresh 0.4.1 bebot, nothing modified.
I use Mysql Server version: 5.0.41 and PHP 5.2.2.

i have added a if (!empty()) statment

Title: Re: OnlineOrg

the Commands !getorgs not get the Entire List from Funcom
This is a Big list and on 1st use will prob SPAM
RK1 is Aprox 5k Orgs

Also i have noticed that some orgs are the same name eg.
1 is Armada and another armada both RK1
they are dif orgs

so now org name is Case sensitive e.g.
doing !onlineorg leet will bring up none match and a list of found with Leet in

altho i havnt done this yet i will make it so if case sensitive search fails do none case sensitive instead and if only 1 result get that other wise show search
Edit: DONE

Around line 472 (in the 0.4.1 version):

Code: [Select]
                if ($this -> regtime + (60 * 60 * 24) <= time())
                {
                        $membercount = $this -> bot -> db -> select("SELECT coun
                        $faction = $this -> bot -> db -> select("SELECT nickname
                        $who = $this -> bot -> whois -> lookup($faction[0][0]);
                        $this -> bot -> send_tell(Onlineorgbot, "reg ".$this ->
                            $this -> regtime = time();
                        }
                }

If $faction is empty the bot will die when it tries to evaluate $faction[0][0]. If you set up a new bot (empty db) it will always die, since the roster update will occur later and nobody is in the db yet.

Mine Works altho mine is a later version (unfinished)
ill post here but maybe bugs in it

Edit: oops wrong Module, that GetOrgs.php was an Obsoleat File and doesnt work anyway

Edit Again: Updated Orgs.php with some improved Code + a BACKUP server!

Edit Yet Again: Fixed update Bug

Edit, That right ANOTHER! : forgot to add Multi Dimension support (eg tell backup site wat dim you are), also now uses Cron to split up the process making the bot run better during it.

Do you have a 0.5_svn version of this module? Tried to fix it w/ & w/o 99_0.4_Support.php but no success. Onlineorgbot is down too.

i am currently doing big changes to module. I have nearly finished. Then i goto debugg it

The central bots are down because i ran out of memory on my server. I plan on stripping alot of crap from the bot then putting back online.

Working fine so far.

Code: [Select]

//$this -> bot -> send_output($this -> current[name], $msg, $this -> current[origin]);
$this -> bot -> send_output("", $msg, "gc");

Well there seems to be a few more problems that I am experiencing with the bot. I can fix the sql issue since that is pretty easy to fix but the other option is in conjunction with the 050 support module.

MySQL error (# 0) on query: SELECT org_id, org FROM orgs WHERE org COLLATE latin1_general_cs = 'telbot' AND org_id !=0 LIMIT 1
COLLATION 'latin1_general_cs' is not valid for CHARACTER SET 'utf8'Ucom [2008-04-24 03:07:55]      [TELL]  [OUT]   -> Slacklin: Getting Online List for Cosmic Forklift Inc. ::: From Database ::: System busy

Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Temar on April 24, 2008, 05:37:00 am
Added "shortcut" change to support module,
redownload support mode and it will fix error.

as for mysql stuff i duno, wat u post was how it does a case sensitive search, as org names are case sensitive
eg RK1 has 2 orgs name armarda just dif case.
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Slacklin on April 24, 2008, 07:04:54 pm
With the module now that it works, there seems to be a problem with it being accurate. For example if I do a !onlineorg Cosmic Forklift It returns that there are only 4 members in the org. When I go to check the database, it informs me that there are 431 members in the org.

I think that it is going through the check too quickly on how many individuals are online as it is very very fast compared to the previous version of the plugin.
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Temar on April 24, 2008, 07:29:21 pm
some times i know it returns that if it does database search for members instead of XML,
and maybe only 4 of the org are in your DB
after XML all member should be in DB altho i have seen this pop up now and then and plan on doing tests to try to remove the problem
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Slacklin on April 24, 2008, 08:37:07 pm
I tested against the Database and it is correct with 431 members in it using just a simple select statement. The XML also displays the proper info which is why it is strange to see that there are only 4 members that it thinks are in the org. Another example is Good Spirits which has 1219 members yet the bot only states that it has 7 when I did an onlineorg.
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Temar on April 25, 2008, 12:58:23 am

Post by: Slacklin on April 25, 2008, 03:11:26 am
Very strange, got a totally different number after doing a getorgs. Maybe there is more going on to cause this than I previously thought.
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Temar on April 25, 2008, 03:48:55 am
Fixed.
was useing wrong column in table
when i added stuff were getorgs got member list etc, i started useing last_update for it. and added whois_update for when whois gets all member update, which is wat onlineorg does on XML mode.

Changed Onlineorg to use whois_update fields Instead an Should work now.
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Slacklin on April 28, 2008, 07:26:55 am
Wewt Getting another error this one more towards MySql

MySQL error (# 0) on query: SELECT org_id, org FROM orgs WHERE org COLLATE latin1_general_cs = 'storm' AND org_id !=0 LIMIT 1
COLLATION 'latin1_general_cs' is not valid for CHARACTER SET 'utf8'

Once that returns the error org is spammed with "Error : Broken plugin, recieved unhandled command: nlineorgbot" every 15 seconds or so in red till the bot is restarted.

Can't get the current version to work in 0.4.x
Tried placing the 0.5.0_support.php everywhere I coudl think of, but doubt that's the problem...
I get:
Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Class 'OnlineAlly' not found in /BeBot4/Testbot1/custom/modules/OnlineOrg.php on line 19
if I place it in custom/050 it woun't load at all, and tbh, can't find annywhere inthe 0.5.0 support module that tells it to load from that folder annyhow...

Does it still support the 0.4.x? or only 0.5.x now?
Title: Re: OnlineOrg
Post by: Slacklin on June 25, 2008, 08:45:03 pm
It works as long as the file is in the right place. The 0.5.0_support.php file needs to go inside of /<yourbot>/custom/modules

Any 0.5.0 modules then go inside of the 050 folder at /<yourbot>/custom/050 for them to be loaded properly.

If you're running Bebot on Linux you need to use dos2unix on the Orgs.php file to convert the linebreaks or it does screwy stuff when getting the org list.

not sure if this is related, but I noticed on my bot restart this morning, I am getting a console error.

Parse error:syntax error, unexpected '<' in orgs.php(320) : eval()'d code on line 1

See my above reply.  I had this on my Linux server, running dos2unix ./Orgs.php took care of it.

I'm on RK1, does Onlineorgbot work?

lol!
Code: [Select]
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_version() on a non-object in /BeBot4/Testbot1/custom/modules/0.5.0_Support.php(66) : eval()'d code on line 58
How stable is the 0.5.x series now and how are their support for 0.4.x modules? I might just upgrade this damn bot....

Did we ever get an answer to this one?  I'm running .4.3 bot and the error is in the Orgs.php file but I'm not sure why (I comment that module out and I can boot bot).  I was at first guessing I was missing a USE flag for php so I just re-compiled it with everthing enabled and still same error.

ok i finaly figured out the problem the support class wasnt loaded yet at this point, i have move the code that loads 0.5 module to the botton of module and it works, see the 0.5 support topic for new code

I assume you are referring to the topic here:  http://bebot.link/0-4-x-customunofficial-modules/0-5-0_support-php-(so-0-5-0-modules-work)/15/

However, I don't see any updates there at all.  Am I looking in the wrong place?

Will aofiles and bots be back one day or should I just disable bot link forever? There should also be a setting to enable/disable aofiles without having to modify the code and restart the bot.

right now temar is on vacation, and will be back to his house on Saturday.  I would suspect things for this will return to normal shortly after that.   right now he is only able to get on very limited.  We are all having the same problem atm, what you can do is just rename it and add _ for right now and once temar fix's it, then just rename back and restart.

Did anyone ever figure out this mysql error?

the mysql error seems to be a problem with your mysql not supporting that thing

i will look into the resulting spam

Just curious if there are any updates to the org name parsing problem. The orgs.php portion of the module cant seem to pull any info from Funcom currently and that is kind of messing up the functionality of this entire module.

i know some people cant get it from funcom thats why aofiles also have a copy, which should work

OnlineOrg isnt Designed for AoC, far as im aware there isnt org lists available for the module to use
the module relies on websites for Data

For those that couldn't figure out the utf8 problem (like I was having) I found a way to fix it (at least in my case).  I just changed the table to use latin1_general_ci as well as the 2 fields that were trying to use utf8 and my problems went away.

On a related note.  Are the onlineorgbot's going to come back online ever?

do you still have the one for 0.4?
if you do, can you upload somewere :D

I would suggest using the 0.5.0 compatibility module and the latest version. The one for 0.4.0 may be working natively but it is not quite as feature full or responsive as the 0.5.0 version.

kbot [TELL]     [OUT]   -> Onlineorgbot: get 4454404 1
kbot [TELL]     [INC]   Onlineorgbot: onlineorgbot orgfalse .
kbot [TELL]     [OUT]   -> Onlineorgbot: I only listen to members of this bot.

Hmmm should i register mybot (kbot) somehow so it could use onlineorgbot ?

Fixed , i have been aware of the issue for awhile
it only happened when returning false so central was still working
the issue was the reply was colored which made the command unrecognised
